supernova presents with cool chort techno tipp b2

the -old school- that merge with the new making a unique sound. the -italian stallion- dj soch, owner of black angus records keep on tapping into sounds from the past making them fresher and up to date creating tracks that can persist over time.after the success of -unknown- is the time of -planetary session- the original mix is a journey through an idyllic world made of pads, synths, vocals and raw beats.the -underground mix- is a deep and cyclical dub, a surrounding bass and a bitter vocal for an uncompromising underground dancefloor tune.for the remixes this time soch choose two young dj/producers from his home town:leonardo martelli, one of the star atists of antinote records, that create his own version with visionary atmospheres, dark and electro, stefano light version istead make us think of a sunset by the sea with percussive grooves and warmer and softer sounds.the release is 100% made in foligno, a small italian city home of one of the best club in europe, the serendipity club, son of dancity festival, where artists play confronting and sharing their passion for music. black angus rough is vinyl only limited edition.

kepler. makes the second contribution to silencio s catalog with “planetary systems i”. with refined ethereal elements rendered from what is surely an eerie origin, “186f”, is truly engaging. this track is fueled with a seductive synth heralded by haunting vocals that effectively whisper over its steady, punchy bass line. meandering in the background is the type of idiophone sound one would associate with a hand-percussion triangle instrument. its particular effect provides a complex, rolling rhythm that vibrates in a beautiful tone until its objective has been achieved. on the b-side “452b” is a great track to open up a set with, gentle yet still energetic in how it introduces itself to the audience. it begins with a series of echoing sounds that rise and dive throughout, seemingly reflected off the surface of one’s subconscious, in a satisfying manner. accompanied by a deep pulsating bass line that accents its driving drums, this track will set the tone time and time again. imagine the dawning of a realization formed from an inspiring event in nature. the second track, “luzon”, features a laid back tropical tempo and samples that feel transported from a lush, rhythmic rainforest. kepler expresses this vision within the confines of a catchy groove, utilizing subtle bird sounds and rattles that resonate over layers of atmospheric synth. this is emotional music meant to move a crowd or manufacture a sincere moment of clarity.

2016 repress - following on almost 5 years after their first release *journey to the centre of the sun* on esp institute. 2 big excursions from a couple of very well respected heads. featuring the label’s very own tako reyenga (red light records, music from memory) and jonny nash (melody as truth, land of light) these two tracks were cut from a weekend of sprawling space-jams recorded in jonny’s north london home in 2012 and until recently were thought to be lost.

cosmic & earthy dubbed out house by zarate_fix from narrabeen & dj sotofett of moss – sex tags mania. the percussive title track expands little by little until reaching a cosmic choral state, then giving space for a long-driven flute solo. b1 provides pure dub chains of percussion and an extended flute part while b2 goes further towards the beatless beautiful cosmos with soft chimey new age ambient synths.

sensoramic is a new label on a mission of sensory expansion. for the debut release the uk based imprint drafts new producer karousel to deliver two cuts of machine driven house. s.a.m., the danish oscillat/delaphine favourite appears on the remix fresh from delivering a slew of killer originals and remixes as well as his most recent mandar collaboration with lazare hoche and malin genie. on this reshape, he is at his most sublime best delivering an emotive retake on the original that stretches heady organs and melodies alongside a beat that refuses to let up.
